Improving the Lives of Patients
Satellite Philanthropy, a partner of Satellite Healthcare, is dedicated to undertaking charitable activities that lead to important benefits for all patients suffering with chronic kidney disease (CKD).  Guided by an independent scientific advisory board of leading researchers and the Satellite Healthcare board of directors, Satellite Philanthropy operates at many levels to improve the lives of patients with chronic kidney disease, including:

• Reducing the financial and practical barriers to patients’ access to treatment
• Educating patients, families, and medical practitioners about all aspects of kidney disease
• Supporting the study and exploration of the causes and cures for kidney disease, including funding of universities and academic institutions nationwide through the Norman S. Coplon Extramural Grants
• Advancing the medical and general understanding of kidney disease and its prevention and treatment
